The talk offers insights into handling complex cybercrimes."When $195 million in Ethereum was stolen from Jump Crypto, they faced a challenging decision. With a court order in hand, they collaborated with Oasis to execute a counter-exploit on the latter's smart contracts, aiming to recover the stolen funds. A huge, inefficient transaction exposed the hacker's mistake. Capitalizing on this lead, whitehat hackers discovered a vulnerability in Oasis’s network. This enabled the initiation of the recovery process, ultimately reclaiming the stolen assets.As a critical player in initiating the recovery process, I was kept in the loop throughout the entire operation. The significance of the situation kept me on edge, my pulse racing from February 16th to 22nd.
